I stopped smoking years ago and haven't touched a cigarette since thanks to a hypnotherapy CD I bought on Amazon. I was so impressed with the effect that around the same time, when things were very stressful and bad at work, I bought another of the therapist's CDs for positive thinking. Within a week I went from wringing my hands to being a problem solver and seeing problems as a challenge instead. It was amazing!

As you all know this foul disease affects mental wellbeing too and I, like everyone else here, go through phases of mourning, despair and worry for the future. Sometimes I can't sleep and actually get paralysed with the fear of what could be in store so I dug out the CD and started listening to it again.

It's definitely helped, no doubt about that. I listen to it about once a week and it's definitely helping. I dont' know what the rules are on the board for promoting products so if anyone's interested do PM me and I'll give you a link to the Amazon page. I swear by it.

Hi Mairaid I have tried the CD s . Mine are by Glenn Harrold , i find them very good. When i get down i always bring them out. I have Think Positively and Deep Relaxation .
The slimming one didn't help me to lose weight but the others did help me to feel much better about everything. I have tried other Hypnother apy CD's but these are the best i've had. My sister uses the Positive one ,she has bone cancer but she finds they help her a lot mentally and physically .Hope i dont get into trouble for advertising. Kathleen Mc.

Aha! Glenn Harrold - that's the chap I use! Once you get over his cockney wideboy accent he's actually very good. I swear by him, totally.

Thanks for these posts. I had some hypnotherapy during counselling sessions a few months ago and have been looking for a reliable cd to use at home, will probably try the Glen Harold ones now.

Thanks again.
